    Fort Kent State Historic Site
    Located at the point where the St. John and Fish Rivers meet, the Fort Kent blockhouse was constructed in 1839 as part of a fortification during the Aroostook Border War. The bloodless conflict was a border dispute between the US and Great Britain. The building is currently used as a museum.
