Located 33 mi beyond Millinocket, on Ripongenus Lake, the Allagash Gateway Campsite offers housekeeping cabins, and tent and RV sites. Guests have access to on-site hot showers, a marina, boat launch, canoe rentals and transportation services to the upper West Branch of the Penobscot River. In addition to providing whitewater rafting adventures on the Penobscot River, the Penobscot Outdoor Center features a spacious campground where guests can stay in canvas cabin tents or on tent sites.
